RGS MISSION: Our mission is to stimulate an interest in studying family history
and genealogy, and assist persons who are researching their family history.
Whether a person begins their search with documents and a name, or through
a DNA test, searching for family members is what we do.

Membership in a Genealogical Society allows genealogy researchers to connect with others searching for family information. Sharing experiences, hints, and ideas related to our genealogy journeys helps us learn new ideas and methods for locating that missing document and/or breaking down a “brick wall”. We hope you will join our group!
RGS Membership Year – January-December
Dues: $30.00 – for a single member
$30.00 - for couples, or family residing in same household
Membership has its advantages.
- Monthly General Meetings (Jan-May & Jul-Nov) 2nd Tuesday from 1:00-3:00 pm with guest speakers.
- Electronically receive 10 newsletters /year.
- Individual Genealogy Consultation Appointments.
- Monthly Discussion Group Meetings (Jan-May & Jul-Nov) 1st Tuesday from 1:00 pm-3:00 pm – Discussion, Sharing, and Question and Answer time.
- Timely email notification of programs and special events.
- Digital handouts on request.
- Voting privileges.
- The opportunity to participate in running the Society by holding an office, serving on a committee(s), or volunteering in the library.

Please join our Genealogical Society by completing the information on the membership form; then clip it; write a check for $25.00 made out to Roseville Genealogical Society or RGS; and mail it to the address listed on the application form.
