About Richard Dodds:
Richard Dodds is a former US Army officer and retired from AT&T as a senior project manager. He has served on a hospital board of directors, as the chair of a school board, and was mayor of Patterson, California for 8 years. He is married with 4 children and 17 grandchildren. 
He has worked for over 10 years researching his family and helping others with their family history. He is currently serving as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Sacramento as a family history specialist.
