Genealogy: What's in it for me?
Presented by Sarah Clift

As genealogists, we love the playing detective and rejoice at finding clues about our ancestors' lives. Have you ever wondered why you love doing family history and how all of your searching has actually benefited you? In this presentation, you will learn about the psychological benefits of doing family history and sharing family stories. You will walk through time to see how "doing genealogy" has changed from the distant past to today and how it might change in the future. You will also learn how cultures without traditional paper records have preserved their histories.
