The Roseville Genealogical Society (RGS), in cooperation with the Roseville Public Library offers a free service, entitled BOOK-A-GENEALOGIST, to assist family history researchers.  During this “COVID-19” time, an RGS Volunteer will meet with the researcher by telephone or ZOOM, offering a free 60-minute session to share genealogy ideas and hints.  More than on session may be requested.
WHO:           Anyone who would like help with family history/genealogy research.
WHAT:         Request a free one-hour appointment with an RGS Genealogy Volunteer.
HOW:           Email to request an appointment with an RGS Volunteer.  Include your name and contact information (telephone number and email address), plus a sentence about the type of help requested.  Referral will be forwarded to an RGS Volunteer.
WHEN:         An RGS Volunteer will contact requestor within 2-4 days to set up a telephone or ZOOM appointment with researcher, depending on the holiday schedule.  More than one session may be requested.
WHERE:       Volunteer will meet with the researcher by telephone or ZOOM, to discuss your research and question(s), plus provide suggestions.
RGS’s Mission is to stimulate an interest in studying family history and genealogy and assist persons who are researching their family history.  Whether a person begins their search with documents and a name, or through a DNA test, searching for family members is what we do.
