Chinese Genealogy: An Introduction
Presented by Ken Johnson

Chinese genealogy for American born Chinese proved a path to identifying Chinese roots.  The presentation will describe how to begin work by gathering family information from relatives and friends.  The hold grail of Chinese research is finding the Jia Pu, or Family Register that contains their mail lineage.  The Jia Pu usually records the family lineage back to the Song dynasty, around 1000 AD.
